I just wanted to thank you again for a nice pageant day! I have got to tell you even my Husband was telling me he enjoyed it! That's NOT usual! Brianna also loved it! Thanks for letting her go on stage and pretend she was doing pretty pageant. She competed from 4 months to 23 months and absolutely loved every minute of it!!

Please still consider Victorville for another pageant. Ramada Inn is a good place to have it and I am 5 min away and I will be MORE than happy to help you out.

"From Barstow,"

Taylor was NOT her usual self today. She smiled and laughed on stage. She was bubbly in her own little stinky way, lol  She won Divisional Queen, Portfolio (that I worked hard on) and SUPREME!!!!!!!!!! YAY! go Taylor. I am so proud of her.  We have gotten lucky and competed in to well run pageants in a row. Thanks to AAF-California and Anna Marie for an awesome experience. The gift bag was full of goodies. And Taylor is still drooling on the baby doll =-)

Have a great weekend,

Raynika

"Hi There,"

I want to let you know that Kate really enjoyed the pageant and absolutely loves the crown, sash and trophy! She wore the crown in the car and the sun hitting it made it sparkle so pretty! Alyssa wore the beauty crown to get her excited for her pageant experiences.

I hope to see you and Josée in Oakland. Oh, and the girls thought your husband was adorable! You have a beautiful family!

Take Care,

Roni

"Hi Anna Marie!"

Thank you so much for the wonderful pageant today!  We had so much fun!!!!!!!

Even if Kirsten had only won 2nd princess, we still would have come away smiling......she did SO good (for her) today......she and I both knew that her performance was very good (for her) and we both felt so good about it.  We could not tell (during competition) if the judges liked her at all. I was seriously worried that they would think she was "too much". LOL  I thought that Lisa's daughter, Cassandra, was just stunning.........and also Cloe was just darling & had such a great smile...... we felt like either of them (and also some others!!!) could easily have won the elite supreme, and so we are just so surprised and so honored......THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Kirsten really had a fun fun time. We felt like the pageant was really well done and we enjoyed it immensely. Your children and your husband are so sweet too. It was so fun to finally meet you in person (you look nothing like I pictured, LOL., much younger and prettier! hehehee). I am sorry we didn't get more time to chat..... :0)  BTW......we really liked the hotel.......as you know I rented a room once we got there (SOOOOOO glad I did, that was awesome) and it was really really nice......next time I am going to drive up the night before and stay overnight!!!! But we liked the hotel....and we had such a great time at the pageant.....Kirsten LOVED being able to do the two talents, and she LOVED all the different modeling categories.  Anyway, THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

We were very impressed with the crowns and the dolls (WOW!) and the trophies!!!! (wow they weigh a ton!!!!) And Kirsten loves her satin banner so much......thank you so much.......we really had a good time and she is HONORED and THRILLED to be your Elite Supreme winner! We can't wait to get mini-national info/paperwork.  Hope you had a very safe drive home!!!!!! You were in my thoughts and prayers tonight!  Thanks again!

Pageant Hugs,

Holly Gaskell & Kirsten

"Hi Ladies!"

Well, we are home from our day at the AAFCP (All American Family California Pageant) in Phoenix, Arizona.  Wow, what a fun day! What a great pageant! What a nice director! What a nice bunch of pageant moms & such sweet adorable kids!  We had a blast!!!!  The pageant was at the Hawthorne Suites. Very nice place. We got there shortly after registration started and checked in, got a studio suite..........what a NICE room that was! It was in the building closest to the ballroom, and was clean and really nice. The hotel staff were great! So we registered, checked in, and quick got her into her beauty dress, did her hair and some light makeup and off we went down to orientation. Anna Marie Van Nice (the director) explained the way their pageant runs, the judging criteria etc. Very informative.....Big thank you's to AAFCP, Anna Marie, her family, the judges and everyone else who helped to make this day so special!  You should see the beautiful gifts and crowns and trophies and banners she received.  WOW!!!!! Truly awesome. The crowns are stunning (gorgeous!!!), and Anna Marie gave the winners beautiful porcelain dolls that had real rhinestone tiaras! I think the girls were more excited about winning the dolls than winning the crowns! (chuckle) Kirsten's doll also had an embroidered banner to match hers! (very cool) And Kirsten's banner was just beautiful! The trophies also were really nice quality.....wow......so heavy!!!! Very nice quality crowns, trophies and gifts!  Thank you so much AAFCP! Kirsten is honored to be your Elite Supreme and she had such a fabulous time today. Thank you so much.

Congratulations to ALL of the winners; and again, thank you to the judges and to AAFCP and Anna Marie Van Nice for a very nice pageant today!

Best wishes,

Holly Gaskell & Kirsten (9)

"Hats off to Anna Marie...AAFCP"

I just wanted to say we a had a fun time this past weekend at AAFCP even though Savannah was showing her almost terrible 2 attitude!

The crowns and banners she received were top notch and beautiful. I thought the judging was extremely fair and I liked that we had several opportunities to speak to the judges. Congrats to all the winners and thanks to Anna Marie and her family for being so kind.

"Hello hello Anna Marie!"

I would personally like to give my input on the first state pageant. I think it was a wonderful effort. The location was beautiful and everyone in attendance was too. The contestants and their parents were so kind and helpful as well and though that is out of the director's control it still meant a lot to me. The prizes were gorgeous. Nobody went home empty handed and I feel that is important. The Mary Kay workshop was a FANTASTIC idea. I hope that becomes a regular part of AAFCP experience. Overall I still say it was more of a retreat than a pageant.

Everything was so relaxed and even if you were on edge it didn't show and when the director is relaxed it really affects the competition environment. It was all about fun and I had more than I could ask for. The fees were lower than some of the more commercialized pageants and I got more out of this experience than I ever did with "MTC" or similar organizations. I think things can get to a point where it's more about ratings and the show than the contestants themselves and I didn't leave AAFCP with that empty feeling of a lost weekend or that disconnection between myself and the pageant staff as I have with other groups.

I love my title and I plan to promote AAFCP throughout the year of my reign. It truly does stand for family and a healthy environment for competing at any age. Feel free to contact me at any time if any events come up.
