Letters from contestants:

"Hats off to Anna Marie...AAFCP"

I just wanted to say we a had a fun time this past weekend at AAFCP even though Savannah was showing her almost terrible 2 attitude!
The crowns and banners she received were top notch and beautiful. I thought the judging was extremely fair and I liked that we had several opportunities to speak to the judges.  Congrats to all the winners and thanks to Anna Marie and her family for being so kind.

"Hello hello Anna Marie!"

I would personally like to give my input on the first state pageant.  I think it was a wonderful effort.  The location was beautiful and everyone in attendance was too.  The contestants and their parents were so kind and helpful as well and though that is out of the director's control it still meant a lot to me.  The prizes were gorgeous.  Nobody went home empty handed and I feel that is important. The Mary Kay workshop was a FANTASTIC idea.  I hope that becomes a regular part of AAFCP experience.  Overall I still say it was more of a retreat than a pageant.

Everything was so relaxed and even if you were on edge it didn't show and when the director is relaxed it really affects the competition environment.  It was all about fun and I had more than I could ask for.  The fees were lower than some of the more commercialized pageants and I got more out of this experience than I ever did with "Miss Teenage California" or similar organizations.  I think things can get to a point where it's more about ratings and the show than the contestants themselves and I didn't leave AAFCP with that empty feeling of a lost weekend or that disconnection between myself and the pageant staff as I have with other groups.

I love my title and I plan to promote AAFCP throughout the year of my reign.  It truly does stand for family and a healthy environment for competing at any age.  Feel free to contact me at any time if any events come up.

Dear Anna Marie,

I just wanted to let you know how much fun I had over the weekend. I felt that you did such a terrific job with the pageant. I was very pleased with the way things turned out. Also, I felt that the pageant was done with a lot of integrity and kept with your mission statement. Thanks again. ... I really loved the way the pageant was structured.

Thanks for a glorious weekend,
